The film stars the voices of Keith Ferguson, Sean Marquette, Grey Griffin, Tom Kane, Phil LaMarr, Tom Kenny and Candi Milo reprising their respective roles from the television series, with guest stars Neil Patrick Harris, Jason Maybaum and Kevin Hart. This makes it the first and only theatrical Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends film to hit the big screen as House of Bloo's, Good Wilt Hunting and Destination: Imagination were just made-for-television films.
